Sharyl Attkisson Explains Origins of 2016 Fake News Narrative
Posted by: BornAgainAmerican - 02-15-2018, 05:18 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (7)

Turns out it was Dims who were attempting to discredit Conservative media. Google was in on it and still attempts to silence Conservatives to this very day.

https://pjmedia.com/video/sharyl-attkiss...narrative/

In a Tedx Talk at the University of Nevada a couple of weeks ago (watch the video below) investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson revealed the origins of the "fake news" narrative that was aggressively pushed by the liberal media and Democrat politicians during the 2016 election, and how it was later flipped by President Donald Trump.

Attkisson pointed out that "fake news" in the form of tabloid journalism and false media narratives has always been around under different names.

But she noticed that in 2016, there seemed to be a concerted effort by the MSM to focus America's attention on the idea of "fake news" in conservative media. That looked like a propaganda effort to Attkisson, so she did a little digging and traced the new spin to a little non-profit called "First Draft," which, she said, "appears to be the about the first to use 'fake news' in its modern context."

'Bummer-Era FBI Official on a Mission to Verify Something, ANYTHING About Dossier
Posted by: BornAgainAmerican - 02-15-2018, 05:01 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (10)

An investigative team hired by embattled website BuzzFeed and helmed by a former Obama-era FBI official has been feverishly working for six months to try to verify parts of the notoriously “unverified” Trump-Russia dossier. So far, the investigation, which is running parallel with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s politicized Russia probe, has not offered any of its findings.

Foreign Policy reports that according to “four sources familiar with different aspects of the ongoing probe,” BuzzFeed’s team of investigators at FTI Consulting — headed up by Anthony Ferrante the former director for cyber incident response at the U.S. National Security Council under the Obama administration — has been “traveling the globe on a secret mission to verify parts of the Trump dossier.”

BuzzFeed hired Ferrante and FTI in response to a lawsuit over its decision to publish the scandalous, unverified dossier, which includes some outlandish accusations, like Trump supposedly hiring hookers to urinate on a bed that the Obamas slept on, as well as an accusation that servers belonging to a company owned by Russian technology executive Aleksej Gubarev were used to hack the DNC’s computers in 2016.

The latter accusation is one source of BuzzFeed’s ongoing legal headache. Gubarev is suing the outlet for recklessly publishing the document without confirming its claims. In January, BuzzFeed was slapped with another lawsuit, this one from Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen, who is similarly accusing BuzzFeed of publishing the document containing false claims about him.

  Bannon’s new fear tactic
Posted by: Jessamine - 02-15-2018, 03:08 PM - Forum: News Discussion - Replies (9)

Bannon says he’s terrified of the “Me, Too” movement. I think he will be disappointed in his new fear tactic.  To quote a friend:
“It won’t be a race war, it will be a gender war.  Bring it on!”

  Anatomy of a Coup

Ann Coulter has Mueller-probe facts 'contrary to every single person talking on MSNBC'

Every place you look in Robert Mueller’s investigation, the same names keep popping up: FBI agent Peter Strzok and sleazy, foreign private eye – or “British intelligence agent” – Christopher Steele.

So it’s rather important that they both are Trump-hating fanatics, and one was being paid by Trump’s political opponent in a presidential campaign.

From Another website:

"US"

I haven't said too much about this election since the start...but this is how I feel....

I'm noticing that a lot of people aren't graciously accepting the fact that their candidate lost.

In fact, you seem to be posting even more hateful things about those who voted for Trump.

Some are apparently "triggered" because they are posting how "sick" you feel about the results.

How did this happen you ask? Well here is how it happened:

You created "us" when you attacked our freedom of speech.

You created "us" when you attacked our right to bear arms.

You created "us" when you attacked our Christian beliefs.

You created "us" when you constantly referred to us as racists.

You created "us" when you constantly called us xenophobic.

You created "us" when you told us to get on board or get out of the way.

You created "us" when you attacked our flag.

You created "us" when you took God out of our schools.

You created "us" when you confused women's rights with feminism.

You created "us" when you began to emasculate men.

You created "us" when you decided to make our children soft.

You created "us" when you decided to vote for progressive ideals.

You created "us" when you attacked our way of life.

You created "us" when you decided to let our government get out of control.

You created "us" - the silent majority.

You created "us" when you began murdering innocent law enforcement officers.

You created "us" when you lied and said we could keep our insurance plans and our doctors

You created "us" when you allowed our jobs to continue to leave our country.

You created "us" when you took a knee, or stayed seated or didn't remove your hat during our National Anthem.

You created "us" when you forced us to buy health care and then financially penalized us for not participating.

And we became fed up and we pushed back and spoke up.

And we did it with ballots, not bullets .

With ballots, not riots.

With ballots, not looting .

With ballots, not blocking traffic.

With ballots, not fires, except the one you started inside of "us"

"YOU" created "US".

  Saint Nancy
Posted by: BornAgainAmerican - 02-15-2018, 11:39 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (19)

Last Saturday afternoon in Washington, D.C. an aide to Nancy Pelosi visited the Bishop of the Catholic Cathedral in D.C. He told the Cardinal that Nancy Pelosi would be attending the next day's Mass, and asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out Pelosi to the congregation and say a few words that would include calling Pelosi a saint.

The Cardinal replied, "No. I don't really like the woman, and there are issues of conflict with the Catholic Church over some of Pelosi's views." Pelosi's aide then said, "Look, I'll write a check here and now for a donation of $100,000 to you if you'll just tell the congregation you see Pelosi as a saint."

The Cardinal thought about it and said, "Well, the Church can use the money, so I'll work your request into tomorrow's sermon." As Pelosi's aide promised, Nancy Pelosi appeared for the Sunday worship and seated herself prominently at the forward left side of the center aisle. As promised, at the start of his sermon, the Cardinal pointed out that Ms. Pelosi was present.

The Cardinal went on to explain to the congregation, "While Ms. Pelosi's presence is probably an honor to some, the woman is not numbered among my personal favorite personages. Some of her most egregious views are contrary to tenets of the Church, and she tends to flip-flop on many other issues. Nancy Pelosi is a petty, self-absorbed hypocrite, a thumb sucker, and a nit-wit. Nancy Pelosi is also a serial liar, a cheat, and a thief. I must say, Nancy Pelosi is the worst example of a Catholic I have ever personally witnessed. She married for money and is using her wealth to lie to the American people. She also has a reputation for shirking her Representative obligations both in Washington and in California .

The woman is simply not to be trusted."

The Cardinal concluded. “But, when compared with Hillary Clinton, Ms. Pelosi is a saint."

I hate being fingerprinted.
Ink and paper, the newer electronic fingerprint scanners, doesn't matter.
I don't like it.
I even feel violated when accessing my personal phone, my own fingerprints safe, and of course the finger print readers at work.
I will never do those 23&Me DNA tests, I refuse to spit into a tube or swab my cheek.

Jared and Ivanka's credit lines have jumped
Posted by: susnus - 02-14-2018, 03:58 PM - Forum: News Discussion - Replies (8)

The changes take Kushner and Trump’s reported debts to a range of approximately $31 million to $155 million from the previously reported range of between about $19 million and $98 million.

the following is sourced from WaPo, following up on the Politico article.

Quote:As an aside, who carries that much credit-card debt? Are the Kushners’ liquid assets so low that their lifestyle has to be paid for by borrowing at presumably outrageous rates?)

Kushner’s financial problems relating to his 2007 purchase of the 666 Fifth Ave. building for $1.8 billion have come up in the context of the Russia investigation.

Kushner’s financial problems make these contacts all the more troubling. As he was racking up debt, law professor Jed Shugerman tells me, Kushner “also just coincidentally was setting up secret lines to the Kremlin and was meeting with [Russian President Vladmir] Putin’s banker a month after the election. And he just coincidentally was meeting with Russians offering dirt in Trump Tower during the election.” He explains, “Kushner’s massive debts are an important piece of the entire Russia conspiracy on some of the parties’ motives (Kushner, Michael Flynn and Trump) for such inexplicable behavior and such risk-taking.”

In sum, Kushner has huge and growing debt, many suspicious Russian contacts and a close relationship (perhaps second only to Ivanka’s) with Trump. “The more money Kushner owes, especially to lenders or guarantors who do not have America’s best interests at heart, the more he and his father-in-law the President are subject to compromising pressures at best and outright blackmail at worst,” constitutional lawyer Larry Tribe tells me. “The fact that Kushner, without full security clearance, is permitted to peruse the President’s Daily Briefing, containing the most secret information that exists, makes all of Kushner’s financial obligations and debts urgent threats to our national security. This situation is unconscionable.”
