We've messed things up beyond being able to put them back where they were, but there's still time to figure out solutions that make things less bad. But don't worry, we're blowing that chance, too.

Yes, probably.

I'm very pessimistic about this issue, and sad about it.  We had such a nice planet/environment here that supported us (and a lot of other species) well, which may be unusual in the universe.  Why did we have to **** it up so badly?
