New potatoes...
#1
I planted them March 15th and I probably put them in a shade deep. Not up yet.
Anybody got taters in and up? No. 2?

I'll probably plant peas Friday (4/11) but I'm still trying to convince myself to jack with them at all.

Ok, the new sweet corn plates are a 7.2" spacing, and the old ones are 9" spacing.

You get bigger roasting ears if you plant (or thin) to about a foot apart. For silver queen (what I prefer) they recommend 12" spacing. I was more like 7" last summer and got medium ears. A neighbor a short distance away thinned ruthlessly to 12" or more and got humongous roasting ears. That what I'm going for this year.
